BM's state-of-the-art Client Innovation Centre (CIC) opened in Nova Scotia in March 2013 and is the first of its kind in Canada. The Centre weaves together IBM’s business insights and industry-leading software portfolio and is ideally suited for any client that needs flexible access to emerging or niche skills that may not be cost effective to grow internally. In this role, you'll work in our IBM Client Innovation Center (CIC), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. These centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
As a Python developer you will apply your expertise in optmizing, enhancing, maintaining Python automation code and design new features. Supporting client tickets.

What you’ll do:
As a Python developer, you will

• Suggest enhancement
• Deliver code updates
• Extend Python automation framework
• Unit test components
• Support Customer as needed
• SQL,
• Python
• API design
• API integration
• Python
• ETL understanding
• Experienced Oracle DB sql knowledge,
• Communication skills

Nice to Have:

• Java, Javascript

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Relevant experience of 3+ years in Python
• Relevant experience of 1+ years in Shell scripting and working with Linux OS

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Good debugging skills.
• Applied knowledge of SDLC
• Good Communication and ownership skills
• Ability to pick up new areas and work as level3 support
• Able to guide a team of lesser experienced professionals.
